Driving Electric Golf Cart General Rules

If you have a chance to drive the electric golf cart without license on the golf course, you need to know some general knowledge first and you must do not damage the pitch and offend other players.

When you drive the golf cart, you need to keep the constant speed so as to avoid bigger noise when speeding up. And you should pay attention to other plays when driving the cart. Due to the different golf course and the seasons you are in, there are different general rules of driving a golf cart. The most common are the following two types:

1. Golf carts are limited only in the driveway. The rule is suitable for the course whose ground is wet and the purpose is to prevent the pitch from being damaged due to the tire.

2. 90 degree rule. This rule requires the cart is mainly running in the driveway. When you arrive at the parallel position where the ball landed, you can turn 90 degree right angle, then directly to the ball across the fairway. After the player hits the ball, you can retrace your path to the driveway and go forward. The rules not only can let the player drive to the ball, but minimally damage the pitch.

Never drive your golf carts or golf trolley to the Green and service court no matter which golf course you are on, otherwise it will cause the serious damage to the course, which is unforgivable.
